How to Set Up the Newsletter + Points and Coupons reward Workflow
Step 1: Set Up Points Reward Rule
Go to Loloyal admin > Program > Points > Earn points > Add ways to earn points > Subscribe to newsletter, and define how many points customers will earn when they subscribe (e.g., 1000 points for a successful subscription).
Step 2: Set Up Customers Redeem Points for Coupons
Go to Loloyal admin > Program > Points > Redeem points > Add redeem points. Create a coupon rule (e.g., 10% off for 1000 points). Customers can later redeem these points via your loyalty widget.

Step 3: Enable the subscribe to newsletter popup
Go to Loloyal admin > Program > Popups, and enable the Newsletter Subscription Popup. You can customize the popup style, display timing, trigger rules, and target audience.

Step 4: Test the Flow
Preview your popup in the storefront. Complete a test submission and confirm:
- When a customer subscribes via the popup, they are automatically marked as “Subscribed” in Shopify.
- Points are instantly issued as a reward for the subscription.
- Customers can redeem their points for coupons through the Loloyal widget.
